I would like to enroll a minor in a course, is this possible?

Our courses are open to all. However, our adult training should not be mixed with a population that is too young. We place adult education at ages 15 and over. For minors (aged between 15 and 18), they must be accompanied by a person of full age. This person can accompany their child, stay during the course without taking an additional registration. If she attends the course, this person will have to make a reservation for her as well.

For young people under 15 years of age, specific training will be required (private class), they can not participate in our adult classes.

Course cancelled

Has your course been cancelled due to lack of participants? You must have received an email from us informing you of this. We are sorry that this happened but don't panic, you can immediately choose a new date for this course.

To explain how to do this, here is a description of how your personal space and the "My Courses" section work.

Access the "My Courses" section:

Navigate the drop down menu to "My Courses" as in the following image

You will find several sections:

My cancelled courses: This section lists your cancelled courses. It is only visible if one of your courses has been cancelled by us.
My scheduled courses: the list of your upcoming courses for which you have an active reservation.
My pending courses: the list of your courses that you have purchased but that do not have a date attached yet.
My past courses: the list of your past courses where you will find the course notes (for the main courses).

On each cancelled course, and thanks to the following button, a drop-down schedule opens and you can select a new date for this cancelled course.

I would like to cancel or modify my registration

Several situations may arise. For example, you have chosen a course a long time in advance and are no longer available and you wish to change your course date. Or you have bought a course without a date and you want to finalise a booking.

To explain how to do this, here is a description of how your personal space and the "My Courses" section work. At the end of the article you will find a summary of the applicable conditions.

After taking part in one of THE PHOTO ACADEMY's workshops, whether it's a workshop on the basics of digital photography, using lenses, motion capture, or managing light and manual mode, each student receives, in the week following the course, a request to share their opinion on the workshop they took part in.

- Writing the feedback (optional):

Students are then invited to write a detailed review, sharing their experience, the strong points of the course, and any suggestions for improvement. This stage allows students to express their satisfaction and provide constructive feedback.

- Specific Questions and Ratings in the Notices:

In addition to inviting students to write a detailed review, THE PHOTO ACADEMY includes three specific questions in its feedback form, each asking for a score out of 10:

Which course can I book with my gift card?

Accepted Answer

Most of the time, your gift card has a heading that specifies the number of lessons for which it is valid, for example "a 3h30 group lesson". Likewise, the value is almost always mentioned at the bottom of the card in light grey, so as not to make it too prominent and/or so that the buyer can cut or crop the document so that this mention is not visible.

If this is not the case, you can simulate a booking by adding the date of a course to the basket, and entering your card code at checkout to see the amount of the booking.

You can also send your card code to contact@thephotoacademy.com so that we can inform you of the exact amount on your card.

ATTENTION: If you book a workshop for less than the amount on your gift card, the remaining amount will be recorded in your gift card code so that you can use it for another booking. If you book a workshop for more than the amount of your gift card, you will only have to pay the difference.

Our gift cards have no expiry date and are non-refundable.
